The large rice patties of Taiwan.

Imagine how much rice was produced twice a year in these patties!

Another photo of La-May, children at play, notice the water buffalo, the ducks and geese, could that be a farmers residence  to the right of this photograph?  I see the laundry hanging to dry on the bamboo pole.  This could have been a clothes washing area on the creek.

COULD WE HAVE HANDLED LIVING IN THESE CONDITIONS—I WONDER ?

The people of Taiwan were and still are resilient—God Bless Taiwan and it’s citizens !
