Hard to say what the “Comm. Room” folks did each day? Were they directly involved in the construction or were they just involved in A Company business. I guess they took care of business back in the unit area. |

Update: Bruce Rayle was able to read the sign next to the building on the left. It reads: “A” 802 LATRINE AND SHOWER. Of course, the small building immediately in the back of the latrine and shower is the water tank for the hot water heater which provides warm water for the men to shower. You can see the smoke stack and if you look carefully, it appears that there are 2 fuel tanks, probably diesel fuel, which fired the water heater(s) for the showers. Quite a nice set-up for the men of A Company 802nd. |
